I was reading into boat donation services for a friend of mine, and stumbled upon Car Angel. Carangel.com is a non-profit company that uses cars, boats, and other donations to make videos for kids and teenagers. They’ve given away an amazing 2.4 million videos and the numbers are still climbing. They accept boats and yachts from partner charities from across America. They are very selective about the charities they serve, and you get to choose the Charity you want to benefit from your donation. So if you have a boat that you are no longer using, maybe consider donating it.
I thought I was close to being done with the mattress video, but when I went to start recording the voices I noticed the music was skipping. This was pretty much the last I could take of Windows Movie Maker. I worked too hard on the recording and editing to have it all go to waste with the audio. So I checked out some trials and ended up with Sony Vegas. It’s not the first time I’ve used the software, so it didn’t take long to get going. It went really smoothly. It has so many more options. Pretty much the only thing left is for Jen to record her voice parts, and it’s done. I drank so much coffee trying to get this done. It may be time for me to invest in an espresso machines.
Spent most of the day working on the bedinabox video. It’s turning out really well i think. I never really intended to do it, let alone spend this much time on it. I hope it pays off, it has been a lot of work. It looks like all that is left is to overdub the voices. Windows Movie Maker is so limited i had to pull a few tricks to get it to do what I want, I hope whats left goes pretty smooth.
I recently got to try out the sacred Samsung Blast at work the other day. I was really let down by it. Not only was it nowhere near as nice as I had exptected it to be, but it screwed up the formating on my micro sd card. When I put it back in my phone I didn’t notice the odd behavior till the next day leaving me to think my phone was screwed up. Luckily I got it all figured out….3 hours later. I am pretty much sold on Motorola. The w490 is still going strong, which has to be a personal record. I do want to upgrade to the rizr z3 which is basically the same phone, but a slider, but i’ll wait till its actually upgrade time.
The other day while Gavin and I waited for his bus to come, he decided to bust out a little dance number while he sang some gibberish. Then Jen and I thought it would be funny to cut out his moved and edit them into a video. I really need to look into a better video editing software. Windows Movie Maker is so buggy and frustrating when you want to do something so small. I feel like I always have to take the long way around to do certain things.
Fun Fact: I have never been to Vegas, but if I did I would check out some Vegas hotels before I left. Yep
Trying to get a decent looking video setup so I can record anything funny that might happen in the game. The video looked pretty decent until I uploaded it to Youtube. It really killed the quality as you can see. You can hardly even tell what is going on in it. I will have to find a new place to upload for sure, otherwise it’s just not even worth doing.
I haven’t actually seen these on tv yet, but they are sweet.
