Get out your best wrinkle cream, the new episode of The Office is about to come on. As long as it was away due to the writers strike I decided I didn’t care and wouldn’t bother picking it back up, but I’m full of it. Moved the kids bathtime up an hour to make sure we don’t miss it. I don’t even remember what was going on in it. Hope it doesn’t suck.

Mounting the television wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. It only took us about an hour. The hardest part is trying to find the damn studs in the wall. After trying multiple times we finally had the mount on the wall. We went to install the bracket on the television and then we realized that we didn’t have the screws for the television bracket, but besides that it was fairly simple. Jen wants to get one for the LCD in the bedroom, but I would rather get a plasma lift.
I was just realizing how jen and I have gone from juggling a ton of different shows to almost none at all. Just a few weeks ago we had rock of love and hogan knows best on sundays, and prison break and the pickup artist on mondays. Tuesday I would usually download the latest episode od weeds. Thursdays we had scrubs, greys anatomy and the office, and on the days there was nothing on I made my way through all the episodes of nip/tuck.
Well prison break is just a joke now. Its like a rehash of season one but nowhere near as good, so I let that show go, along with weeds. The current season of weeds could not be more boring. The pickup artist and rock of love both ended, and I can’t muster up enough care to even check out greys this season. I feel like we only watched hogan knows best cause it came on beside rock of love. The office is still good, but I think jen is slowly losing interest. Hopedully it will pick up in the next few episodes. I am also hoping this final season of scrubs goes out with a bang, and that the new season of nip/tuck is better than the last. I have been thinking of picking up heroes and giving it a shot, but I have heard really mixed reviews. I think I love new york has slowly sucked us in but its not like we have to keep up with it considering vh1 reruns their shows into the dirt. We need to look into a plasma tv with a sweet plasma mount.
Just saw that Weeds will be coming back for season 3. This is great news cause tv is really sucking balls lately. There isn’t shit coming out on dvd either. At least I will have something worth watching come august 13th. If you haven’t seen it you are missing out. You can probly guess what the show is about. The finale for season 2 was easily the best cliffhanger I have ever seen on tv. I hope they don’t fuck this season up. That seems to be the trend with a lot of decent shows lately. Like Scrubs. I can’t believe they are going to stretch that show out for yet another season. They are just killing it.
My video card has finally arrived, and I can now resume the quest for finding a game that doesn’t completely suck. Maybe game companies should do a little more than market research alone before creating and releasing such garbage. Surely there is something worth playing that isn’t fps or rts. My big S-video cable also arrived and I have now got my monitor cloned onto the big screen. It looks really sweet when running emulators. Think I’ll give Titan Quest a try. It looks decent, but who knows.
I didn’t even start watching King of Queens until the final episode had already came and gone. I had seen a ton of reruns, but had never really watched the up to date episodes. I recently decided I would start from the beginning and watch all they way through to that final episode. It took a long ass time but I just watched the last episode and was a bit disappointed. Everyone in the show is great, especially Jerry Stiller (Arthur, the crazy dad) and it was great to see him in something after Seinfeld. It really was a great show, I just wish the last episode hadn’t drawn out the bull so long, just to wrap up the end in a matter of seconds. Anyways its worth checking out if you get sick of all the current garbage on tv.
