Addy

Jen finally found us a little sheltie female, and went and got her this morning. She is so tiny. Like a little fluffball. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dog with such a thick coat before. I am sure she will be beautiful when she is full grown. We don’t have the best track record with keeping animals for long, but this one isn’t going anywhere. I don’t care if she destroys the house and eats the tv stands, she is a keeper.

Cracker

Our little girl has finally started to say a few more words, and it is the cutest thing ever. Especially when she says “Cracker”. It’s crazy how fast she is growing. We are so excited that she is making progress in her speach. Gavin took much longer to start talking, and continues to struggle with his comprehension, tho he is still improving too. We were surprised that even some harder words we tried to get her to say as a joke, she actually came pretty close to saying. Tho our fun was soon ruined when they came to clean the patios and we had to break out the patio furniture covers.

Finally

After a week of madness with laura being ill, she seems to finally be feeling better. Every time we took her to the doctor/hospital they said it was something different and would change her antibiotics. This last time someone finally gave her something for her pain and tested her blood to get the correct antibiotic in her. She slept through the night for the first time in over a week, and is just chilling watching some blues clues. Her fever seems to be staying down as well. Now maybe i can get these chandeliers installed.

Germy

If there is one thing school is good for, its brining home germs. Gavin pretty much stays sick. I’ve never heard of a kid having to miss school at least one day a week. Not only that but he brings it home to us and his little sister. This last batch of germs he brought home was extra brutal. I did my best to finish my work day on Saturday, but by night I couldnt take any more and had to leave early. My voice is pretty much gone and I can’t stop coughing. I can only hope that he will have eventually caught so many colds that he will have built somewhat of an immune system. I guess its just part of being a germy kid. A cold really is nothing compared to something like mesothelioma or something else serious.

Can’t Touch This

The other day while Gavin and I waited for his bus to come, he decided to bust out a little dance number while he sang some gibberish. Then Jen and I thought it would be funny to cut out his moved and edit them into a video. I really need to look into a better video editing software. Windows Movie Maker is so buggy and frustrating when you want to do something so small. I feel like I always have to take the long way around to do certain things.

Fun Fact: I have never been to Vegas, but if I did I would check out some Vegas hotels before I left. Yep

Again

So for the past week I have been sick with another cold. Winter is just getting started and I have already been sick twice. This is very unlike me. Either I am getting it all over with at the start, or this is going to be one hell of a winter. I am already negative in my sick hours. Gavin has missed a few days of school, and now Laura is getting it too. And she is very happy about the situation, trust me. It looks like Jen may have lucked up this time, but with Laura just getting started there is still a huge chance Jen will get it too. I am just about over it tho. I am hoping that by morning I will be feeling pretty much back to normal, aside from coughing up all this crap.

Jen has been looking at different bed frames for when we move, I think we should look at some adjustable beds. That would be sweet. I really need to find a better theme, but I hate them all, and am pretty lazy about the whole page in general.

Renting

So Jen keeps talking about how hard it is to get a mortgage now, so we are starting to worry about what are plans will be when our lease is up. We are still going to give it a shot for buying a house, but even if we aren’t approved there is no way we are staying in an apartment any longer. Renting is fine with me in comparison. I’d rather the kids not have to share a room. That would really suck. I’m sure Laura would agree. Would be more fun to get some Bush furniture and decorate it all cute for her. I can just see them fighting more if they have to share a room. Thats what we need….more screaming and crying.

It’s Spreading

I literally get sick once, maybe twice a year. So it would only make sense for me to come down with something the week of my vacation. I guess Gavin picked up something from school, cause he sounds like shit. So far Laura seems fine tho, which is good. I’m sure those would be some great nights, not that she sleeps well as it is.

Ready, Set, Vacation!!!

That is easily my gayest title yet, but what can you do about it. Nothing. The final day of work is over, and its all vacation from here on out. Where am i going? A little place i like to call, Nowhere. It’s only 5 days, but I will probly be ready to go back to work by then anyway. I hope the kids don’t drive me crazy. Hopefully I can find some stuff for us to do to keep everyone happy and not screaming their heads off. Maybe thats just wishful thinking. At least me and Jen will have a couple days off together for once. Maybe we can check out some Progress Lighting, right after I figure out what the heck it is.
