After spending a retarded amount of time searching for a way to get AIM working on my blackjack in the way the Oz messenger does on most tmobile branded phones, I desperately posted on the Txcaesar Rom Kitchen forums . My big plan was to find someone bored enough to extract the files i needed from a dash or a shadow and send it my way. What I didn’t expect was an immediate response from one of the main peeps of the site, and his willingness to hunt down, edit, and extract the files i needed. He even put it in .cab format for me for a quick instal.  It just struck me as odd how some person I have never even spoken to gladly offers up 2 hours of his time to help a stranger, while people I see every day can’t be bothered to lend a moment of their time (yet constantly assume I have nothing better to do than help them).

Wtf.

So Jen won a memory foam mattress and foundation, the funny thing is that the mattress arrived well over a week ago now, but we are still waiting on the foundation. Right now we are just using our box springs, and it seems to be working well, but I am sure it will be a lot nicer once we complete the set up.

On another note, I have never owned a Rolex, so I don’t have a clue what a Rolex Datejust is. Do you?

It is absolutely insane that some can afford to have a second home, like a vacation home or something. That just seems to me like a waste of money! Why pay for something that you will hardly ever spend time in? I guess if you have tons of money you can do whatever the hell you want. Just seems incredibly stupid to me.

I hate moving. I can’t think of anything I hate more. I wish I could put all of this furniture into a giant can crusher, just so I wouldn’t have to move it. We ended up selling the televisions, just so we would not have to move them. We have decided that we would rather have LCD televisions anyways.

So our damn car is still in the shop. Figures. We haven’t even owned it for more than two weeks, and it has been sitting at the shop for about a week now. That isn’t even including the time it spent up there to get the back window replaced. It is crazy all the body shop supplies they have there. Hopefully they can get it all fixed before we get it back, as I don’t plan to have it sitting up there another week.

So I wish I could take our tax refund and take Jen to Vegas. There are so many hotels in Vegas to choose from. But not only do you have to come up with money to get out there, and for your stay, you have to come up with money to waste! I bet going to Vegas gets really expensive. Maybe we will just take a trip to Tunica, it is cheaper and closer. Plus we would never drive to Vegas, and we sure as hell will not ever fly.

I already got the refund back from paypal for the unlock code from uniquephones.com. I am so glad I paid through Paypal.

After a bit of digging I stumbled upon this post, as well as this one. Both are filled with comments on how they were scammed by Uniquephones.com . I already opened a Paypal dispute, even tho it hasn’t even been the 12 hours, but judging by the comments the sooner I get the refund started the better. If they actually follow through on their promise, I will of course let it be known, but I get the feeling that is just not going to happen. Shoulda bought it on ebay. At least then I can get scammed in the way I am used to.

As we stood around last night with too little time to run a mission, but apparently too much time to do nothing, Jeff got that funny look in his eye when we came upon the Yaks in Yaks Bend.

I can’t tell if I am just way too impatient, or if uniquephones.com has scammed me on an unlock code for the holy Blackjack. Probly the first option. Just odd that their “Live chat support” tells me to leave a message. Upon placing my order the estimated time was 12 hours, but when checking it through order status it says 7 days. Screw that noise. Aside from not being able to use it for calls and texts tho it seems pretty damn sweet. The keys are a bit cramped, but I think its just a matter of getting used to it. I got NES games running on it, and they play and look much better than they did on the shadow. Guess I will just go back to waiting on this damn code.
