Finally got around to leveling my druid to 30, which gives me travel form. Woot. Not quite as fast as a mount, but its free, and its instant so it’s good for making a getaway. This character is starting to grow on me. They can do so many cool things, it keeps it from getting boring. Most other characters eventually fall into the routine of doing basically the same thing over and over, but with my druid I have plenty of options, and can completely change my role on the fly. I am surprised tho at how small travel form is compared to all the others. Looks like my big ol druid would have to have been on diet pills to have squeezed into that form.

I am pretty behind in posts, but we got the christmas tree up like a week ago. I’m too lazy to upload a pic, but its uh….green….and….it has ornaments on it. We had some trouble choosing between christmas tree skirts , but the one we got looks good. It took us almost the whole week to finally get a star for the top tho. But it looks really good now. I’d say its the best one so far. I hope Gavin has as much fun on christmas as he did decorating the tree.

So Jen keeps talking about how hard it is to get a mortgage now, so we are starting to worry about what are plans will be when our lease is up. We are still going to give it a shot for buying a house, but even if we aren’t approved there is no way we are staying in an apartment any longer. Renting is fine with me in comparison. I’d rather the kids not have to share a room. That would really suck. I’m sure Laura would agree. Would be more fun to get some Bush furniture and decorate it all cute for her. I can just see them fighting more if they have to share a room. Thats what we need….more screaming and crying.

I finally got around to doing the quest for Aquatic Form on my Druid. Better late than never I guess. I really don’t know much use for it, but it is still pretty cool. I only know of a few quests that are underwater, but maybe there are more later on in the game.

Well I still have about 3 hours to go before the servers are up, and with my dailies knocked out I suppose I could suffer through a crappy movie. Stay Alive sounds full of greatness. I’m sure. Dunno if I posted about the turd that is Desperation and if I did it is worth mentioning once again how awful it was. Stephen King’s books should stay in book form, tho I do want to check out The Mist. I also recently saw The Simpsons movie, and it rocked. Was far better than I was expecting it to be. Wish I had some snacks to enjoy with my sucky movie. Maybe i should get some hoodia pills so I’m not ALWAYS hungry.

I just realized I never posted about our new monitor. My awesome wife froze her ass off for hours on Black Friday to be sure we got it. 22 inch Widescreen HD. It owns face. Viewing webpages with no need to scroll is great. And of course WOW looks frikin insane now. I don’t have to squint to read text anymore! Now we just need the TV equivalent. I wish I could get her maybe an Arizona bed and breakfast. That was a reach.

Gotta hate Tuesdays. Hate em hate em hate em. Why can’t server maintenance be, oh i dunno, early in the morning maybe. You know, when people are sleeping. Nothing like waking up and logging in every week to see the message about server maintenance. Not that I would be doing anything important anyway. I still can’t decide on an alt. I think I have phased out the hunter. I just can’t see myself doing that for 70 levels. Snore. I’d say its down to a pally, a shammy, or just sucking it up and finishing with the druid. I’ll just keep hopping between them till only one remains. I have noticed now that we have a ginormous monitor, and a beefed up resolution, that my fps is taking a hit. Maybe I should get some Dell Memory. Maybe I should get a Dell first.

I haven’t actually seen these on tv yet, but they are sweet.
