Every day it is starting to feel more and more like Jen and I need a vacation, a serious vacation. A Florida vacation would do just fine. Really anywhere would work at this point. Even so much as one day to ourselves without the kids that we could sleep in and later go someplace nice for drinks and dinner would be killer. Maybe I can pick up some extra hours to pay a babysitter to watch them.

So we finally heard back about Gavin’s speech class. They are telling us that its going to be mid October before he starts now. We were hoping it would be a bit sooner, but at least this gives us some time to figure out what we are going to do about a second vehicle. I had originally planned on getting a tuck with a sweet truck bed liner, but now I’m thinking it would be better if we could find something small and fuel efficient. We are also considering ditching the van for something a little smaller and cheaper. It’s all just talk for now tho. I cringe even thinking about going through the process of purchasing another vehicle.
After testing the RTS waters and seeing what the genre has to offer, I now have even more of a feeling than before that pc gaming is really turning to crap. When its so bland and boring that I have gone as far as to turn to RTS in hopes of finding something worth playing, its just gone too far. Not that I am not enjoying Warcraft 3, I just suck at it….really really suck at it. But even if I rocked at it, its still just not the type of game I’m looking for.
I am really starting to want a 360. The game library is pretty impressive, and there are tons of games I would rather play on a 360 than on my pc, even if it means paying for them. Maybe by the time we move out of here I will have snagged one. Thats all I need. A nice little house, a 360, and maybe some vessel sinks for the bathrooms. Pimp style.

This weekend felt long as hell, but luckily Jen and I will finally get some time together since she is off work for Memorial Day er Labor Day, and I don’t work on Mondays anyway. I doubt we will do much more than lay around the house and watch tv, maybe finally watch a movie. I can’t wait till we retire and can go boating or fishing out on the lake and just relax. We will be all old and stuff, but I think its a decent trade off.
