Vista. No Thanks.

Even with the added ram and video, Vista was still driving me nuts. What a piece of crap. I immediately had compatibility problems with the first 3 games I tried, and then for some reason it seemed like Vista was choking on itself ever few seconds. Needless to say I have ditched it once again and gone back to good ol XP. Time spent much longer with Vista and a prescription drug addiction would be just around the corner. Maybe I will give them a year or so to make it suck less and I’ll try again.

I guess that’s why I wait a few years before getting the new stuff. That way they can work out all the bugs and HOPEFULLY the price will have dropped. In the meantime, XP is pretty good in my opinion.

yeah, I recently got a laptop and that was the one thing I was adamant about, I wanted XP and not vista. the sales guy tried, he really did, to convince me it would be fine, but no go. Everyone I’ve spoken to who uses Vista hates it. the only downside I’m facing is that some of my sims 2 expansion packs are problematic on this laptop, the game freezes/crashes, no matter how many things I stop from running while the game is playing. The joys of compatibility issues :(
