If you don’t wanna sell, don’t list it

I Found a kickass deal on a psp on craigslist. Its a lot like listing something in the classifieds, but for free. I call them up and find that its actually some kid selling it and I was speaking to his idiot of a mother. She didn’t know dick so she had her son call me back, let me tell ya the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I’m amazed he figured out how to play a game on it. Hell maybe that’s why he wanted to sell it. Maybe it was just too hard. Anyway I threw a price at him 20 less than the already sweet deal and he accepted. So after a quick call to the wife I call the kid back to see where we could meet and I find out he isn’t old enough to drive. Wtf does he need with a cellphone then? So I call back the mom and apparently she knows how to get to wal-mart…. And that’s it. She is also not much help in trying to set up a day that we can meet and told me she would talk to her husband and call me back. Great now the dad is involved, and none of them are calling me back. People annoy the shit out of me I swear.

Sweet Deals

I’m sure if I totaled up the amount of money my wife and I have saved using coupon codes, it would be a nice chunk of cashola. I’d have to say my favorite place to use them is Amazon.com. Everyone knows you can find just about anything there, and its crazy simple to put the codes in. But if Amazon isn’t really your thing, they have over 1,00o other stores to choose from. Check it out and save some money.

Learn to Drive

At my job in between sweating my balls off and putting up with everyones bullshit, I do a lot of driving. Like a fuckload. There is always something that needs to be picked up, or a car needs to go somewhere. It never fails that during the trip I run into some fuck that somehow just got their license, or someone far too old to still be driving. Today for example someone cuts me off, and it wasn’t until they were entirely in my lane that they finally decide to throw on their blinker. Dumb mother fucker. It takes everything I have not to say fuck it and run them off the road just for fun. I need a fucking tank.

We Need a Vacation!

Sponsored Post

Anyone who has taken a nice vacation, but had to spend their nights sleeping in a sorry rental housing like a motel, knows it can make all the difference as to how enjoyable the overall vacation experience can be. It can sometimes be hard to know beforehand how the place you will be staying at really stacks up. Fortunately VLBO.com has made it simple to find out anything you want to know about where you will be staying by putting you directly in contact with the property owner. No need to worry about getting stuck at lame motel you know nothing about. All the properties listed look amazing and are priced affordably. Just think of how much nicer it would be to stay in a cabin or an actual house on your next vacation. Be sure to check out their Lake Tahoe vacation rentals.

Texting on iPhone

Apparently other people had the same worries I did about how the texting would be on the iphone, so Apple made a new video going into more detail about how it would work. For anyone who has used Suretype on a Blackberry it is basically the same thing, but with a full keyboard, and for those who haven’t, its like a better itap or T9. It’s really cool the way it adjusts the size of keys based on it predicting what you will type. Judging by the video it looks like it will work out nice once you get used to it, but the fact that you can’t feel the keys still makes me wonder if it will be hard to get accustomed to. Aside from that it seems like its gonna be a pimp ass phone, but that price is going to have to come way the fuck down before I ever even consider it, and I don’t see that happening for a while.

Higher Scores With Score!

Sponsored Post

Most every parent wants their children to not only have the things they never did, but to also excel at everything they do. I can’t think of a better way than by giving them an early start through an Innovative Tutor. Score! Educational Centers allows children to start as early as 4 years old putting them ahead of the game before they even start Kindergarten. My wife and I have kept Score! in mind to make learning fun for our kids, and to help them throughout their future schooling. Anyone who signs up by June 30th gets $100 off, so if you are interested there is still time to get a huge savings.

Roll on

As you can see I am now sporting some payperpost action. Once google adsense ditched me, and the yahoo program wouldn’t let me in the beta I was worried I was out of options. Well fuck them. I can make more in a day with PPP than I probly ever would with Google. If all goes well I may bust out another blog and get some dual PPP action going. But hey thats just crazy talk for now.

We got the glass replaced in the Quest yesterday and the douche bag ruined the plastic molding around the window. What a moron. It looks worse now than it did with the scratched glass. Hopefully they don’t give us any bullshit about ordering some new molding. We shall see.

PayPerPost for the win!

Sponsored Post

I’m sure the majority of most bloggers know about PayPerPost, but for anyone wondering what its like and if its similar to all the other ad driven programs out there, it couldn’t be more different. Most ad programs want you to place a huge ugly banner on your page and in the slight chance that someone not only clicks it, but also signs up, you might get some change thrown back your way. The great thing about PayPerPost tho is you know exactly what you are going to make on an ad before you even accept it. The requirements are very simple to meet, and most importantly you get paid wether anyone clicks and reads it or not. So even a relatively new blogger can jump right in and start making money off their site. The are plenty of ads to choose from so you can blog about the ones that you actually have something to say about.

I just recently signed up and it was so easy to get started. Both my sister and cousin will have made $300 by the months end and they haven’t been signed up long themselves. My favorite feature has to be the fact that within 30 days of approval they simply toss the cash into your paypal account. This is a great system to have some extra money to put back into your site, or just to have some extra cash.

Stop wasting space on your page with the junk ads and sign up where ads on blogs will actually make you some money.

Hellno Moto

So much for getting a phone and sticking with it. I probly would have actually done it had I picked ANY other phone than a motorola to be the keeper. How anyone can stand the lagginess that is in EVERY moto phone I have tried is beyond me. I thought the motospeed app would balance it all out, but I was wrong. Its still laggy junk. So here I am at cellphones #29 and #30 (nabbed a sweet 2 for one kinda deal on ebay). Back to the Blackberry 7290. Its big, its ugly, but if i need to fire off a quick text or note the 7290 doesn’t fuck around. Interestingly enough #30 is a 7230 har har, but that big blue fuck is going right back on ebay.

Welcome to Tennessee, patron state of shootin’ stuff.

I have watched a few movies the past few days. Here is a quick rundown. Anything you read that says otherwise is full of it.

Apocalypto - If I’d known beforehand that I’d be reading subtitles the whole movie I most likely would have passed on this one. I was already on the fence just because it was from Mel Gibson, but turned out to be really good. Of course it was gory as all fuck. Gibson has some issues.

Shooter - Was really shocked by this one. Great storyline and I found the acting equally as good. While watching it I kept thinking how it reminded me of watching Rambo fuck shit up when I was a kid. Didn’t know Marky Mark could be such a badass.

The Fountain - I knew this movie would be strange and is mainly why I wanted to see it. Some parts were so slow and drawn out it almost lost me, but the ending made it all worth it.

Breach - Great movie. Almost didn’t give it a fair chance cause I wasn’t fully paying attention in the beginning , but it sucked me in. No huge twists or crazy ending, just a movie that is good from start to finish.

Ratatouille - Not bad, kinda long for a kids movie. We have seen it twice already. Not near as funny as it’s said to be.

Ghost Rider - Coulda been good. Ghost Rider wasn’t nearly as cool as in the comics, but the visuals were nice, and I thought the characters were decent. Unfortunately the story was lame and the bad guys were pretty shitty. The part I had the most trouble choking down was the young Johnny Blaze looks absolutely nothing like the grown version that is Nicholas Cage . What a joke.

Next - I really wanted to like this movie, but it’s pure crap. There is no explanation as to why dude has his powers and the way this fbi chick figures out about the 2 minutes he can see into the future is just too much to be believable. It only gets worse as it goes on. When the main character starts splitting into different time periods of himself near the end I was ready to flush this turd. I wouldn’t dislike Cage so much if he weren’t in so many bad movies.

The Abandoned - I truly believe this movie was written and filmed completely on-the-fly. No plot, no scares, and no reason to ever speak of this steaming pile ever again.

Epic Movie - What the fuck was I thinking
